Miriam Glinka

Glinka studied Fine Arts at the Städelschule in Frankfurt am Main, at the UdK Berlin, KHB Berlin, and worked together with various artists such as the 2005 transvestite and AIDS activist Ovo Maltine, various other researchers, photographers and musicians such as Wolfgang Tillmans or the Austrian Action artist Hermann Nitsch. She was for several years a singer of the experimental French punk group Sometimes a Makeup and published under her own name in 2005, the single I write you and along with Matthias Scholten, Paul Wiersbinski, Bernhard Schreiner, Dani Gal, Martin Holzschuh, JG Thirlwell and Carl Michael from Hausswolff, the single lumbago. In 2018 she exhibited with her partner, the British musician and artist Mark Manning Zodiac Mindwarp and the Love Reaction in the Bruton Art Factory Since 2000, she has starred in several, very successful experimental and art films starring roles including Ingo J Biermann's film drama Wandering and singing between lilacs and in the movies The song of the turquoise moon goddess and Hara Mirabelle by the Berlin old director Harald Budde and the composer Ingo E. Mitteldorf, who were on ARTE and 3sat. In addition, she works as a writer.
Glinka lives and works in Berlin and London.
